What you need to know about IBPA Publishing University 2022's virtual online platform.

In 2021, IBPA partnered with Attendify to present a fully virtual version of IBPA Publishing University. The experience was so positive, we decided to continue our Attendify partnership in 2022, a move that allows us to offer a virtual component to IBPA Publishing University's typically in-person-only event.

Attendify's reimagined social and event features will help virtual attendees engage in an online environment like never before. Platform features include:

Town Hall: Attendify’s virtual experience starts with an open community space that captures the excitement and energy of walking into an event venue and seeing all the learning and networking opportunities available to you.
Interactive Sessions: IBPA Publishing University is built around educational opportunities and Attendify makes it easy to access live and recorded video while also engaging in the experience with social features like polling, Q&A, and a list of attendees in each session for easy networking.
Effective Networking: At every step of the virtual experience attendees will have networking tools. Whether posting on the activity stream, browsing other attendee profiles, sending messages and chat requests, or viewing a session, networking will always be just one click away.

Registration Options

Two ticket options are available: ALL ACCESS and VIRTUAL ONLY (which includes in-person activities + access to all virtual programming). The registration fee for IBPA members is lower than the fee for non-members. The non-member registration fee includes a complimentary 1-year IBPA membership. What do you mean by “a 2-part event?” How does that work?

IBPA Publishing University 2022's general education sessions will be offered virtually on April 20-21, 2022 via the Attendify platform. Most of these virtual sessions will be recorded and available for attendees to view until May 31, 2022. Bigger events (e.g., keynote addresses), 3-hour workshops, parties, the IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award ceremony, and other gatherings will take place in person at the Renaissance Orlando on Sea Harbor Drive in Orlando, Florida on April 29-30, 2022. All in-person events will follow the most current Florida public health guidelines.

How is the conference committee handling the changing nature of COVID-19?

IBPA and its conference planning committee are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for everyone who opts to particiate in IBPA Publishing University in-person. You can read our COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines here.

I'd like to register several people from my company. Does IBPA offer a group registration discount?

Absolutely! When three (3) or more people register from the same organization, an additional discount per person is applied to the MEMBER or NON-MEMBER rate. Bring a colleague! It's a great deal. To request a group discount, contact IBPA CEO Angela Bole at angela@ibpa-online.org.

What if I register for ALL ACCESS, but can't make it to Orlando due to the pandamic or other reasons?

ALL ACCESS ticket holders can register with confidence knowing they can modify their registration to VIRTUAL ONLY at any time and the difference in registration fees will be returned without penalty. To request a modification of your ticket, contact IBPA CEO Angela Bole at angela@ibpa-online.org.

What if I want to cancel my registeration outright?

ALL ACCESS and VIRTUAL ticket holders can cancel their registration and receive a full refund through January 31, 2022. After January 31, 2022, all tickets are non-refundable, but can be transfered to IBPA Publishing University 2023. To request cancellation of your ticket, contact IBPA CEO Angela Bole at angela@ibpa-online.org.

I have credit on my IBPA account. How do I apply my IBPA credit toward registration for the 2022 hyrbrid event?

IBPA credit can be used toward any IBPA Publishing University 2022 experience (conference tickets, extracurricular activities, etc.). If you'd like to use your credit toward IBPA Publishing University 2022, contact IBPA CEO Angela Bole at angela@ibpa-online.org. before you register.
