IBPA offers two types of registration for IBPA Publishing University 2021: MEMBER and NON-MEMBER. 
 
The NON-MEMBER registration fee includes a complimentary one-year IBPA membership. NON-MEMBER registrants receive a separate confirmation email regarding their IBPA membership as soon as their conference registration is processed. The start date for the NON-MEMBER registrant's IBPA membership will be the date on which the conference registration is processed.
Thanks to the virtual platform's lower expenses, IBPA is able to provide the same degree of education and networking at 40% off the in-person IBPA Publishing University ticket price. Each conference ticket includes 4-week access to the online platform (April 7, 2021 through May 7, 2021), all online educational sessions (live and recorded), 1-on-1 networking opportunities, access to IBPA's exclusive "Ask the Experts" program, and more!

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

 

The IBPA Publishing University Scholarship Program offers members of the independent publishing community interested in advancing their publishing program the opportunity to attend IBPA Publishing University 2021 free-of-charge.

IBPA awards one complimentary registration to each affiliate association and a limited number of at-large scholarships to current IBPA members.

IBPA awards a limited number of at-large scholarships to current IBPA members NOT associated with an affiliate association.

The IBPA Publishing University 2021 scholarship application deadline is November 30, 2020.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you mean by “a virtual event?” How does that work? 
As an IBPA Publishing University 2021 registrant, you’ll be invited to log into the Attendify virtual event platform on April 6. The interface will be user-friendly and there will be IBPA staff and volunteers on-hand throughout the entire program to help you navigate the system. Live, interactive programming will be offered April 7, 8, 9, and 10. Most sessions will be recorded and accessible through the Attendify platform until May 7.
I'd like to register several people from my company. Does IBPA offer a group registration discount?
Absolutely! When three (3) or more people register from the same organization, an additional discount of $39 per person is applied to the MEMBER or NON-MEMBER rate. Bring a colleague! It's a great deal. To request a group discount, contact IBPA COO Terry Nathan at terry@ibpa-online.org.
I have credit on my IBPA account. How do I apply my IBPA credit toward registration for the 2021 virtual program?
IBPA credit, including IBPA Publishing University 2020 tickets held on account for 2021, can be used toward any IBPA Publishing University 2021 experience (conference tickets, extracurricular activities, etc.). If you'd like to use your credit toward IBPA Publishing University 2021, please email Angela Bole at angela@ibpa-online.org before you register.
I registered but can no longer log into the virtual event from April 7-10, 2021. Can I cancel my registration and receive a refund of my registration fees? 
Registrants will have access to the online portal from April 7, 2021 to May 7, 2021. If you're not able to log in for the live programming presented April 7-10, you can log in between April 10 - May 7 to watch recorded versions of most sessions. If you'd still prefer to cancel, cancellations and refunds are available until 12:00 PM Pacific on April 1, 2021. Please email Terry Nathan at terry@ibpa-online.org prior to 12:00 PM Pacific on April 1, 2021 to request a cancellation or refund.
Will IBPA Publishing University 2022 be in-person? 
We sincerely hope so! It is IBPA's intention to host an in-person conference as soon as it's safe to do so. Should a 2022 in-person event be possible, IBPA has space held in the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida from Thursday, April 28, 2022 through Saturday, May 1, 2022. Even if the 2022 event is held in-person, it's likely it will include some virtual learning elements, as well...the best of both worlds.
